This Month’s First
Public Relations Training Is Here!
Hello MARCH! It may be freezing (literally, it’s 28 degrees here in New York City while I write this post) but I’m focused on spring’s arrival this month, and the sunshine I know will come shortly after. The new season doesn’t just mean new weather patterns (praise!) it also means new must-do’s for your business, from strategy and planning to story angles and mindsets, to “spring cleaning” certain areas of your public relations and marketing plans. Not sure what you need to be doing? Not to worry, I’ve got you covered!
Your first (free) PR training of the month will be Monday March 13th and it’s going to presented to you in “checklist format” and will clearly lay out what your business needs to do to get publicity and visibility this season, and beyond. After all, when you put in the time to learn methods, processes and strategies once, you can use them to your advantage over and over again. Yes, this class will be filled with the same juicy, brand-building golden nuggets of public relations strategy, courage and confidence boosting, and recommendations of my favorite business tools and resources I’ve been giving you for years; but I’ve broken these topics into a prioritized list to make your application of them effective, efficient, and confusion free! (You’ll even get a handy printable version of them when you sign up to keep on hand for future reference). **Psst: can’t wait it? Sign up and you’ll get a copy of the recording!
PR Spring Training Topics Include:
- The three emails every small business needs to be able to send to the press this spring. SPOILER ALERT: I’ll have scripts for you to swipe and use!
- Mother’s Day Pitching & Preparation: Want to increase your odds of landing in a Mother’s Day Gift Guide? I’ll teach you how!
- The springtime holidays and observances you should be pitching, and the angles that will get the attention of the media.
- Preparing your campaign plan and media contact lists for press success – and what to do if you don’t have either yet!
- PR Analysis Paralysis got you frozen? I’ll talk you through it so you can start taking action!
- Your Questions answered LIVE during the class – bring them with you!
Whether you’re starting from scratch, spinning your wheels, or already killing it in the PR game, the universal key to PR success is that you commit to keep going, keep learning, and keep moving forward (even if you’re doing that in baby steps) strategically and confidently. The good news is that you don’t have to do it alone, and you can do it with a trained teacher who then ran a public relations agency for over a decade – ME – by your side!
To be sure you get the most from this class you’ll receive a printable PR checklist after you sign up that you can follow along with during our free training, record pointers and helpful hints on, and then keep on hand as you begin taking action what you learned.
One last reminder my friends: Every single season, month, week, day and moment is a chance for you to start over, start fresh, or simply, begin the things you know you should be doing, but you haven’t started yet. That said, your business will not change this year if you don’t change some of the practices that you are – or are not – incorporating into your day-to-day work.
The potential of your business – and your individual potential – is vast, boundless, and it’s in your control! Let’s go do what you’re meant to do!
Join me during this coming training, and I’ll help you get moving in that direction.
